Short dress in African batik assembled in patchwork - each block is a different fabric, each pattern tells something else. Raspberry red, tobacco brown, golden yellow, deep burgundy: the colors juxtapose without blending. The patterns vary from block to block - stylized Adinkra symbols, intertwined crosses and circles, spirals, waves, white tribal geometric shapes on a dark background. Elasticated gathered straps that cross in the back, connected by a central golden loop. Elasticated gathering under the bust for support. Asymmetrical ruffle at the bottom, wider on the sides. Mid-thigh to knee length.
